Terms of Service

Last updated 22 August 2026

This is a general template. Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer before relying on it with real users.

1. What JobPilot does

JobPilot matches live job listings to your profile and generates tailored resumes from your real experience. It is a matching and drafting tool. It never applies to jobs on your behalf and does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You must have the right to upload any resume or content you submit.

3. Credits & payments

  • Paid actions (searches, tailored resumes, refinements) consume prepaid credits at the rates shown in-app.
  • Credits are purchased in packs via Stripe. Purchased credits are added to your balance on successful payment.
  • Because credits unlock a digital service immediately, consumed credits are non-refundable except where required by law. Contact us about unused balances.

4. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no scraping or reselling our output at scale, no automated abuse, no uploading content you don't have rights to, and no attempts to break access controls or other users' isolation.

5. Tailored resumes

Generated resumes reorder and re-emphasise your real experience and list every edit. You are responsible for reviewing any resume before you send it and for the accuracy of its claims.

6. Availability & third parties

The service depends on third parties (job boards, AI, payments, hosting) and may change or be interrupted. Job data is sourced from public listings and may be incomplete or out of date.

7. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed opportunities or hiring outcomes. Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Changes & contact

We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the current version. Questions: cyberkingalvin@gmail.com. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
